Wisdom
(

If you use your mind to study reality,
you will not understand either your mind or reality.
If you study reality without using your mind, you
will understand both.
* * *
To study Buddhism is to study your
own self.
To study your own self is to forget yourself.
* * *
We have all, need nothing, are everything.
And all is One, just One, not two.
* * *
Knock on the sky and listen to the
sound!
* * *
All things are empty,
They have no beginning and no end,
They are faultless and not faultless,
They are not perfect and not imperfect,
In this emptiness, there is no form,
No perception, no names,
No concepts, no knowledge,
There is no decay, nor death,
There are no Four Noble Truths,
No suffering, no origin of suffering,
No cessation of suffering,
And no path to the cessation of suffering,
There is no knowledge of Nirvana,
No obtaining it and no not obtaining it.
* * *
"When you seek It, you cannot
find It."
* * *
Here It is, right now.
Start thinking about It and you miss It.

Student: "I am very discouraged.
What should I do?"
Soen Nakagwa: "Encourage others."
* * *
Student: "I have nothing."
Master: "Then throw it away."
* * *
I won't die.
I won't go anywhere.
Just don't ask me anything.
